Over at sassy cheryls challenge this week you were to

make a card using kraft paper for the image.

Ohhh - I did not like using it one bit.  It's my first attempt

and no matter what I did I couldn't get the colouring right.

But here's the result.

Had a bit of a crafty day today.

Made 3 cards for some challenges.

After making this card measuring 9.5x4inches.

Have never made a tall card before..

A bookmark.

After winning over at meljens designs last week

and getting the prize of three digi's of my choice,

(I could have picked much more than that as all her digi's are so cute).

This is one of the designs, and I made her into a bookmark

 for their challenge this week.

A birthday card for Hannah..

My daughter Hannah has finally reached the grand old age of 13..  Well she will do on Monday.  So this is the card I made for her using her favourite colours of red and black...(I sense a goth in the making).

Crafty Day..

So, I ditched the housework so I could make my sketchy challenge card for Craft Mad, then I really got into it and couldn't stop!  A very nice change for me as I usually struggle to make one card.

this is for the sketchie

and another one with the same papers

then did these two

the bottom one has purple backing paper and colouring

it doesn't show up much though.

finally I did this one which is a stitched one for the Spring Card Exchange

I'm not sure if the card is too big for the stitching,

so might redo it and see.

I am now off to do a bit of tidying up (just a little)..  :)

Exploding Box Birthday Card.

I managed to finish the birthday card for Jade's 18th.

If I had time, and more card, I would redo the whole thing.

It's only when you start to do it that you realise all the mistakes you do.

Isn't it amazing how glue doesn't stick that well until you try to redo something and it sticks fast!!

Spiders legs....

I got all the kids, a few friends and ourselves to make little messages to her which I

added to be folded out to read.  Looks like spiders legs..

Also added her birth details, fairy name, chinese symbol for her name,star sign, name meaning

(editing out what slang it was used for in the 19th century!!)

Very hard to take photos of once complete hence the blue box holding it open.
